I am a fully qualified and insured counsellor and an accredited and registered member of BACP. I hold an Enhanced Certificate from the Disclosure and Barring Service which is continuously updated and allows me to work with adults, children and young people.
I qualified and graduated in 2012 from York St John University. I am an experienced counsellor working with adults, adolescents and children. I work either face to face or remotely to suit the individual. I have experience of facilitating groups for adults and young people with a focus to improve self-esteem and emotional well being and with an aim to build resilience and work on strategies to deal with issues to include anxiety, depression and managing difficult emotions.
I am also a qualified Counselling Supervisor. I completed my training with Leeds Centre for Psychological Development.
I have also worked as a Case Manager and Telephone Counsellor for a Well being at Work organisation.
I am an Associate Counsellor working for a number of organisations to include Employment Assisted Programmes, schools, and a charity. I work in my private practice from a peaceful , private setting on the outskirts of Harrogate where there is ample free parking available.
I offer free initial telephone consultations to discuss your needs and for you to ask any questions you may have.
